Client C
A Not-for-Profit organisation with a responsibility for the welfare of its employees and wider community under the Civil Contingencies Act.
- Problem:
- A self-assessment conducted by the organisation identified a requirement for a training scheme to develop leadership and crisis management skills in their leaders and responding teams. This included the Board and Tactical level functions as well as Communications and Operational commanders. A lack of experience of crisis operations at the senior level — CEO — was also a factor.
Berwicks solution
- Training Needs Analysis conducted with the client to identify the most suitable programme to address their requirement
- A self-help programme instigated to comply to budgetary constraints
- Crisis Management and Leadership courses at Strategic and Tactical levels developed and delivered to responders
- Outcome:
- The organisation is the pioneer in its field and has dealt with a number of incidents using the tools offered to a successful conclusion.
